Ryan and I went out to a successful dinner with the boys last night. I thought I would show off their cute outfits. And thank you boys for behaving so Mommy and Daddy could enjoy ourselves.
Welcome to Ryan and Melissa Tallman's Blog. We thought it would be nice to have a place to update our friends and family of what is going on in our fast-paced lives. I had once thought that I could keep everyone up to date individually and that just doesn't appear to be possible. So here is the next best thing...

Jack MAD!
With Jack there is no middle of the road. It's all or nothing. He'll be calm and peaceful and then in less then a minute he is YELLING at you to let you know something isn't quite right. It does the trick and gets your attention right away.
Keeping our Sanity... Kind of
Our new mobile.
The boys are starting to look around at the world around them. Taking a great liking to their fish tank, or what Ryan calls the "TV" in the crib. They are having more awake moments and needing to be entertained. The latest addition is the mobile, I think Ryan and I are having more fun with it then they are.
Ohh So Tired
This post represents how I felt early last week. KayLeigh, then later in the week Ty, had the stomach flu. So I would be down in the nursery putting one of the babies down and hear one of the kids yelling my name from upstairs. I would change the sheets and get everything all cleaned up. Then back to the nursery because the other baby would have woken up. Then, another cry from upstairs and another bed needing to be changed. You would think with all this going on that I wouldn't have had enough time to notice my sore throat, but it made itself very well known. It turned out I had strep throat which added to how tired I was. I've had strep throat before but I do not recall it hurting that bad before. Isn't the memory great, it kindly forgets pain. Luckily I knew that things would get better and they did. Ryan took off work and I got some good naps in and went to the doctor. By Wednesday things started looking brighter and the antibiotics were kicking in.
I am now feeling much, much better.
